after looking about and toying with the idea of getting green silicoen hoses i came accross jamsport where they show a normal focus rs mk2 black hose fully collapsed!!! they said this happens due to some flap in the intake closing when it shudnt so causes a vacuum effect like sucking a straw then placing ur finger on it, this causes the hose to cave in!!! they say ford has fixed this problem with the flap but still the standard hsoe is poo!!! its the one from the airbox to the black rs pipe i was after as thats the dangerous one but ive seen on teamtorquesteer a roose motorsport set of 4 for 99.99 are these any good and how strong, assfs or scc i think do just the airbox hose on tis own 35 quid and say its the strongest on the market, how would the torquesteer roose ones compare???

I'm not sure which one is favoured but most buy the Roose, TT or JamSport (PanicBuySport) ones. Much of a muchness really.. bit like buying Roose hoses vs Samco ones for the Fiesta ST.

I know (ish Paul Roose) he belongs to our next door RS local group and we have been to a few open days at his workshop he has said many times that his hoses don't colapse and if one ever did he would make them stronger with more layers and you would get a free replacement. I like the fact he will make any hose for any application in more or less any colour. unlike alot of the other firms.

so are we saying the roose hoses are just as good as jamsport or scc hoses?? as torqsuesteer do a 4 hose kit for 99

is it worth getting the jamsport set as thats onl 99 pounds also???

forget that according to the jamsport pic they are roose hoses anyway soo ermm hmmmm???
