Just watching the replay from his Audi race, don't know how he does it!
His wheels almost don't turn, is it bad if my wheels are screeching? lol

Slower is generally better, I think. Remember Micky seems to be some kind of driving god, and he can't be replicated. I found that small things like just squeezing the throttle slowly out of a corner instead of going straight to full power makes a difference. The repay sent, watch it and see if it helps

Watched it, give it another go
Oh and Micky you need to change up sooner, start losing power at 7500-7600 revs, don't know if you know this

Adam it's just alot of practice. No idea on that gear change. Could be where i'm used to my skyline and that makes power right up to the limiter

The key is to drive very smoothly with gentle inputs. I very rarely use full lock and progressivly turn. Duncan is right about the power by feeding it on. The same for the brakes. Try drifting a big power rwd car. You soon learn to be gentle with the controls

For me my better times are when i don't try as hard. If i really try i overdrive the car and end up going slower.

I shall do that tomorrow Micky, thanks
I always bang breaks on full as I have antilocks on, should i be a bit gentler with that?

But i'm still 3 seconds or so from the top of the leaderboards

Yep be more gentle with anti locks. You will be suprised at the difference.
With the brakes if you apply them gradually the work alot better.

I'll do a comparison lap with abs on and see how much difference there is.

When you have finished and quit a race you get a second screen with

Continue
Restart
View replay
Save replay.

Save it and you can gift it straight away or if you goto your profile you can view or send it from there.

Abs brakes.
Slamming them on i did a 1:33:198. The car was also very unstable going into the turn. Oversteer as i entered the turn, Understeer half way round and massive oversteer on the way out.

Gently applying them i did a 1:32:141. I applied them to the point where the abs started to kick in (controler starts to shake and the abs light flashes) Even applying with the abs on i never used more than 75% of the brake trigger otherwise the abs kicked in too much and the car didn't slow down as well. The car was also more stable through the turn and i went where i wanted it to instead of where it wanted to.
