*lol* Ok ok... curse me and my impulsiveness!! I'm just eager to get out there and test my car!! Right.. Ok.. Here goes!! Its the same thing as the last post. I would suggest Ace Cafe and I might still do BUT there really is only so much you can do at a "normal" "stand about and chat" meet.

RWYB at Santa Pod on Sunday 16th October.

This is a chance to watch some crazy, mental and impossibly fast cars, bikes and whatevers (I recommend ear plugs and headache tablets!! *lol*). It is £10 to get in and a further £15 to do unlimited 1/4 mile races. I think its a great opportunity to meet new people, actually use the ST and maybe see how those mods have done!

You can bring passengers but they cant go on the strip with you but its a great opportnity to use them as camera men/women (god bless st_owner100's friend Dan! *lol*)

Pink et al,

Curiosity, what sort of time do these events finish at?

Working 12 hour nights that weekend, but may beable to turn up before going to work. Got to be in Milton Keynes by 19:30!!!

Rob - These things finish when you want to really. Last time I went we were there from about 9am til around 2pm (maybe 3). We only got 4 runs in because it was a beautiful day, there were lots of cars and sitting in the baking hot sun did me in! *lol* When I'm going on 16th I'll be aiming to get there at about the same time and leave the same time.

Dan - shame you cant come! Would have liked to have seen your car and compared it to mine

Will have to give it a miss. As the nightshift requires me to be sleeping while you're sprinting. I'll finish at 07:30 Sunday morning, home for 08:00, bed for 08:01, up about 15:00.
