i,ve got a 57 plate st had from new its done 30000 miles.Im getting a burning rubber smell from behind the back drivers side wheel after being out for just 10 mins but when i stop its gone with in about 10mins, its been into ford and they just said it was tyres so i swapped them from the back to the front and its still doing it so not the tyres been back to ford a few times and they not got any idea what it is, told me to just monitor it and keep popping in every few weeks, warrenty runs out in september, any body got a good idea what it is, or any one in stoke want to have a look and smell what its like.

bearing gone (wobbl wheel - any play ?)

i recently had the same problem except mine went a step further smoke ended up pouring off mine going down the a6 it ended up being a coil spring snapped and stuck in the back of my tyre

dont think its that as i swapped tyres from front to back and still got same prob

my brakes dont stick and my tyres and bearings are fine.

its the rubber exhaust mount getting hot by the back box. its normal and there is nowt wrong. mine does it as does a lot of other peoples.
