So i know the ST is prone to many a squeak, but while driving with the window down yesterday I noticed that my exhaust must be loose as its squeaking like mad!
Im guessing its just a case of replacing the fixings? My only problem is i am skint till payday lol is there much in the mean time i can do to stop the squeaking? that is cheap

It cud be that just a heat shield is loose or touching close to the exhaust. Best thing u can do it get under it and shake the exhaust about and see if there is anything close to it. Could just a a heat shield which is too close!! Simple fix by bending it a bit, I had this prob!! lol

Check your spare wheel isn't rubbing on the polystyrene below it!

Remove the exhaust hangers, grease up, replace
If you can't get them off (I could only get the rear one off)
Just prod as much grease in them as you can, after a while it works its way in

That was my squeak anyway
