can anybody help me... I serviced the car a month ago and I had with me the NGK Iridium spark plugs which I handed to the mechanic... but now the car seams that does not perform so well after the service with the new plugs

My question is... do the plugs have to be mounted with the spacers or without... as I realy feel that car has lost some compression... so anybody know if plugs on the fiesta have to be mounted with or without spacers that are originaly placed on the plugs?

They should have come correctly gapped. If you buy, forexample, the OEM one from Ford for our car they come correctly gapped but any proper mechanic would double check to make sure.

Mine has these plugs fitted and runs fine, they are already gapped so no need to mess about with them.
Has your mechanic fitted them ? have you checked.

Always check the gap, my dad bought some for his car and they came with twice the gap they were meant to have

Spacers? .. are you talking about the spring washers on the threaded part on each plug?

If so ... they definately have to stay on! ..

It's simple, open box, put in new plugs. There arent any sapcers and dont fiddle with the gap. They are howvere very prone to cracking (the porcelein part), so it might be throwing spark.
