Hi, I have found that when i go over rough ground i get a clunking noise at the back. It sounded like the spare wheel was loose, made everyhing tight. But still happens. Now i think it is the exhaust pipe. is this common

i had the same and found out it was a shock absorber,, ford wont do it under warrenty as they only covered for 1 year, so i got second hand one off e-bay because putting new on would meen doing both sides, easy do, but b4 u do it get car up in the air so shocks are fully extended and have a look if there is any leeking on them, mine was covered in oil, common the seals go on them

got the same noise on mandas, always have, similar to the bottom arm noise but from n/s/r area

this im guessing is common yeah ?

mine was on rear passenger side

hmmm, fair few ive seen/read about all say the same side too, wonder why???

ideas or more info any1? was on 32k when she got it and always did it, never has got any worse just bloody annoying at times

mine had done 28500 miles when it started, just replace it
