from what i have looked at so far the pipe that goes on the top is the return pipe and the part at the bottom marked by the 2 arrows is the flow and fits directly onto the pump so once the original resovoir is moved you then need a union to be able to attach a pipe if that makes sense lol sorry if you already knew that just might save you 5-10 mins looking

Hi guys, late to the game of PAS relocation.

I first went the way of adding an oil cooler from a mondeo and with the added length of pipe I hoped it would be enough. After a hot trackday today (around 35-36 degrees Celsius air temp) the pas liquid still overflows on account of getting too hot.

So now i'm looking to relocate the tank as well.

I already have a tank from a focus that i'm planning to use but i'm looking for some tips and trick from the steps that you guys took.
- type of pipe used? I saw on the previous page something with 19 mm interior diameter. oil/fuel rubber pipe should do?
- the route taken around the engine? so I know the length of pipe needed
- where did you fix the tank?
- what about the union with the pump? did you guys get the one from jamsport/pumaspeed? If i'm doing one myself, what dimension should i be looking at?

Thanks a million.

@dragos_st
Maybe the Mondeo cooler isn't doing enough. Are you sure it's still overheating? The 13 row oil cooler on mine is very effective at keeping the fluid cool, but I still find that the cap leaks under hard cornering even though the fluid isn't hot... it actually just spills out from the cap as the seal isn't very good. I have bought a slightly bigger Viton o-ring to make the cap a better seal for track although I haven't tested it yet.
