i'm not a big fan of those lights apart from the audi-look bit but i bet they look terribly awesome at night =o

yeah they are good whens got the sides on but they not very bright with the mains on but they do the job well of looking fit

Are the side repeater bulbs 501's?

Haha adam you idiot. Just did my fronts today- bloody nightmare! Took ages and the inside is scratched a fair bit trying to get the amber out, mine you I didn't have entirely the correct tools. Does look good mind, not sure if it was worth the effort but its done now :-)

I think its just the way the light is shining and the fact that its a white ST maybe makes the surround look darker?
I could be wrong
