Hi everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself on here.

I'm 17 and have a 2006 Ford Fiesta GTR Edition 1.25 Litre.

I have done some mods after the GTR additions, such as:

- 6000k HID Headlight Conversion

- Fusion 900w Twin Sub Enclosure + iPod Connectivity

- Fiesta Zetec S Anniversary Carpet Mats

- Rear LED Lights

- Tinted Windows All Round

- Carbon Fibre 3D Domed Numberplates

- Short / Stubby Roof Aerial

- Clear Side Repeater Indicators

Hopefully a picture should appear below of my car.

The car is a 2006 model with 17k on it.

I owned the car since I was 16, but only had it sitting on the drive!

Normally i try to wash and polish it every weekend.

Anyone who wants to know more about me or the car, please get in touch.

Look forward to speaking to you all!

Thanks,

Ben,

Cheers mate,

I got the side repeaters off an ebay shop, they were only about £18 and they make a big difference from the orange ones i had.

Basically they slide out, it feels like they are going to break but you have to put quite a lot of pressure down and slide them out.

Ill try find out which way you slide for you.

I cant remember which way you have to slide the indicators to remove them, but you definately have to apply a fair bit of pressure

yea welcome along, this is great to finaly have one of the GTR cars on here , think your the first, tell us more and would like to see more pics, never really had a good nosy at one.
Certainly a super car for a young driver, quite a few around but rarely looked after, also you probably have the loudest exhaust

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone!

Stevethewhizz, as young drivers it is fairly rare to know someone my age that actually looks after their car, but I am pleased to say that I really look after my GTR!

I wash and polish the car every weekend, also cleaning the interior aswell.

I normally use Autoglym, but last week i polished the car for 5 hours using The Turtle Wax Black Box (I think thats what its called!).

It is specifically a polish for black cars and the polish is blac, so it does not leave any white marks behind.

The finished results are great.

Hopefully theres a couple of pictures of my car attached to this post.

I'll get some pictures of the new LED lights on soon.

Also, i got a windscreen chip the other day and was told it was not repairable as it was on the bottom strip where all the glue is underneath. The guy said don't bother with a new screen and wait till it cracks, but i don't really want to be driving around knowing that my screen is going to crack soon. Whats peoples input on this?

Thanks

The windscreen problem I'm not sure on but one of our vans at work has a crack right across the bottom and still (I think) hasn't been replaced, might be because its not a massive problem, or, more likely, our manager is to cheap to get it repaired.

Is this covered under warranty?
