The car is out of warranty now, but it is covered under insurance to get a new screen.

I just have to pay an excess of £60 for a new screen.

Thats not too bad and then i wont have to worry about the screen crackin and also its not very nice when you clean the car, to see the stone chip there.

TBH I have had stone chips in cars before and left them, the one on the van has been there for a couple of years without cracking so I wouldn't worry

anything greater than 1inch in size within the drivers line of site is an mot failure. also some picky buggers fail them for sat navs left in so always take them out

Needs a colour coded boot lock and then the back would be complete

Ye i was thinking about colour coding the trim above the numberplate, the trim running down the side of the car on the doors, the door handles and the wing mirrors. But all that will probably be quite pricey!
