picture in my paper today, just got some stripes and coloured wheels and a whopping price of £16,700 to £17,300 which is basically just the zetec S. Even more money if you add in the MT power upgrade .

Also my Ralle News came today, I see Ford WRC are dropping the focus and will be using the fiesta next year, ford will be testing the car with a 1.6 turbo engine

Just 650 Fiesta S1600s are being made, prices kicking off at £16,645. That’s £65 short of a Renaultsport Clio 200 Cup, before you’ve added Mountune’s performance upgrade. Factor in around £1650 to have that fitted.

I'd know what I'd have for that amount of dosh (boo hiss )

Out of the Clio and new fez tho? S1600 looks good, for a new fez, but way too pricey for 118bhp

There's 3 's where i live and 1 escort cossie.
's on the other hand. I was the only in the village and then they invaded. See at least 3 on the school run

Back on topic the fez looks nice and they will sell but really need to sort their pricing out

When I went in to Fruad the other day one of the salesmen tried to get me to trade in my for the s1600, saying my car was out of date. He wasn't too happy when I told him where to stick his £17k

Ask him for another standard fiesta as fast as the ST

To be fair to him, he was an epically poor salesman. When I asked him what was special he said, and I quote "the stripes" How does that justify £17k for a fiesta? "Um, yeh it is a bit pricey"...

Our design of s are nicer than that!

I think it looks half-hearted to be honest, as if it's not finished or something.

Certainly doesn't have the presence that proper s have!

A stupid amount of money! You have to be a grade A idiot to spend that much money on a fiesta... I could get a second hand AMG Mercedes with all the extras for that money!
I'd take the Clio 200 Cup if I had the choice thankyouplease...

Hi,

I know this car is really overpriced but went to fords today to have a look at this car and managed to a haggle a deal. After an hour and a half they offered me £13,700 for it with all the extras, bluetooth, keyless entry and stuff. Does anyone rekon this is a more resonable price for the car??

Just my input.

damn that an ugly colour. i had a sales bloke trying to sell me a new fiesta in that and i think its called magneto red, and its even uglier uplcose. if there is an st, stick with good old blue with white stripes or vice versa to start, then bring in the other colours

Ahhh im not sure about the Mk7... seems to me like the Mk6 just has a bit more character... Even if the new ST was amazing, the styling is still a bit too soft and round for me, the mk6 st and zetec s look really sharp and mean!

Does anyone know why most of the s1600's have different badges on?

Some have the zetec-s badge, some have s1600 badge and some have no badge.

Does anyone know where to get a s1600 badge from?

Thank-you

Only thing S1600 has to the Zetec S is heated leather seats, scuff plates on door, nicer mats, small front spoiler and the stripes, i was looking at getting one but went for the Zetec S instead cause you cant have folding mirrors or many extras on them wasnt keen on the white wheels either !
