Just had a look and yep, some of them are around 10k (I haven't looked in ages) but even if I got one, I would have to factor in high insurance, petrol, tax and servicing. I would just prefer something a bit newer for that money, and have always had a soft spot for the 2L clio

I have a feeling the sheer crazyness would put me in a hedge/tree/wall. Lift off the throttle mid corner if you are driving enthusiastically and you will end up backwards...

the clio 2l is almost as fast as the v6 the v6 is only faster on top speed and also like u say its much cheaper to run the 2l but the v6 is a rare car so the value should go up in a few years

Many excellent top cars listed here , always heard french cars are not reliable anyone confirm this rumour to be true or not ?

The best thing about the ST are its looks and its handling which is top class one of the more cheaper hatchbacks to run. Would love the RS one day or mazda 3 MPS but there simply too pricey for most people lol.Not sure what car i would get next as i would like to keep my ST for 5 years at least.

French reliability is just in people's heads. My driving instructor has 4 206's at his house saying that, we bought a renault senic new a few years back and the engine mounts snapped within the first 6 months. That hasn't put me off getting my own Renault and was probably just unlucky, which could happen to any make of car.

well just googled the Ibiza Cupra SC, first impressions, looks good, very fast 0-60 6.8, hight tech, DSG and all that, probably the cheapest fastest hatch out AND then I looked at the interior and it all went shaped like a pear

I've seen in some reviews that the ibiza cupra and fabia vrs have the same 0-60 time of around 7.3 whereas a new polo Gti is slightly quicker at 6.9 whcih confuses me slightly as they have the same engine lol
