Evening all!

I'm looking for prices paid from folks who've upgraded from the MT 165 to 185 kit, i'm just checking that my quotation is singing along the same lines as other dealers!

Many thanks in advance.

Si.

Fiesta ST165>185 upgrade: £499 fitted if you are an STOC member and get it done at Mountune Performance in Essex, if you get it done at a local dealership you will probably be expecting a lot more, without discount and at a dealership i would say you'd be looking at around £800 if your lucky, hope that helps.

That was spot on Bradders - my quote was £799.98 lol :P

Steve - not me, haven't confirmed the booking yet! Well, i'm looking at 450 Miles of driving, overnight accomodation and spends to keep me entertained whilst the work is being done in Essex, could well mount up to the £300 saved anyway!!

Some ponderage to be done, cheers!

If you drove early one Saturday morning, got it done there and then as it would only take a couple of hours i reckon, then drive home, it will work out cheaper as a lot of members have also done that.

Awesome, they're open on Saturdays aye? If so that would be great, the route is very straightforward from Wigan to Prospect Way, 95% is Motorway - so with the traffic being quieter on Saturday it's a good option - not to mention it would certainly give the cams a good running in on the way home!!

I had mine upgraded from the 165 to 185 in Essex. They're great guys and know their stuff.

I paid £499 last November and it's worth every penny. I was looking to have the work completed locally however, it was going to cost about £800 so, even with petrol you're savings pennies!!

If you need to know anything, please let me know.

Right, so i dont mean to hijack this thead. But what have people paid for the 165/185 package straight up. My local ford (sky) garage wanted £2150 inc VAT and labour for the 185 (=1550parts+600labour). I didn't enquire about 165. what everyone else paying?

£1810 for Stage 1 over a year ago before economy went belly up, I think £2150 for Stage 2 is pretty good.

Cheers Mounty,

How does the STOC membership work in conjunction with the the discount? Do MT ask to see something? A promotional code that you get once you become a full member?

I'm rather looking forward to this road trip now
