Leave it for now and get a bigger bore exhaust from manifold to CAT back and see if it gets any better power and then get a K&N on a long pipe so it sits in the front of the engine bay to catch the cold air!

clean the bonnett, I don't like a dirty bonnet . Clean the engine then spray it with some shiny stuff and remove the battery advert sticker before it sets on fire

lets see the filter installed first, assume you mean a cold air feed, plenty of places sell them, it is just a flexible pipe though.

Will get the flex pipe asap. Thanks.

Will take the plunge, bought myself Simple Green Max and start cleaning after I remove the airbox and clean than detail separately.

Things to watch out and cover with plastic Alternator? anything else to watch out for. As I'd spray Simple Green Max then hose it down with water.

if you can protect the electrics certainly do so, just try not to blast water at any of them.
