bit of a challenge for you ?
how far can you get as soon as the petrol warning light comes on.
answer's on a SAE please

most I have got is 365 miles, but i filled up just before the light came on mostly motorway, might have got a few more (about 20?) out of it if i waited for the light

Do it on a weekend when you're bored but make sure you have a little petrol can in your boot just incase you mess up LOL

i had both the kid's in the car and the other half,
which is all weight (no offence dear)lol
no jerry can just the nerve to see how far till you bottle it and drive into a garage.

i bricked it at 59.2 miles !
and that was as soon as the amber light came on.

The Light only comes on at 50miles? So im guessing i have 50miles left in the tank, give or take an extra 10 miles

I think even past zero miles there is probably still around a gallon in the system. They make it read zero with quite a while to go for in emergencies or for complete clowns, who just keep driving on the light all the time! Did any of you see the top gear where they drove from france to blackpool and Jezza's car read zero miles about 20 miles out of blackpool, and even when he had finished he still had around 150 mile in the fuel system! Bit of a fail safe.

Yes that's what I mean, once mine hit 0 miles left in the tank, I did 5 miles more to see but then chickened out and filled it back up lol

my car doesn't have the digital fuel consumption read-out,
so was a hit and miss thing.
