Hiya all,

almost paid off my Fiesta ST now, and dont know what to do next.. has anyone else gone for the Focus ST and pleased with it?

Been looking at the facelift Focus ST's. Are the Focus' as fun as the fiesta's?

Any views...?

You sure you can afford to run one? Petrol they are shocking, will you not be worried about where you can leave it parked (i know after issues with the ST Fiesta, surely a Focus would be even more of a target).

Short answer yes.

Fiesta will be faster down a tight twisty road but the focus isn't that far behind. The focus is a nicer place to sit and comfy on everyday driviving.

Easy way to put it is the fez is a sports car. The focus is a GT car. Both very good.

Go have a drive of one. You won't be dissapointed

Can't remember the tax (alreday 200+) but petrol isn't that bad.

Yes it goes down to low 10's if you really boot it but try doing that on the road!! You run out of it pretty quick.

On my last long trip ( considering mine is overfueling due to a o2 sensor problem) I got 38mpg. That was a very fast 320mile run with the aircon going and 4 up.

****will have a look for my review.

Well i dont do loads of miles, ive done 19,000 in 3 years so. if i was doing loads of miles then i dont think i would look at one to be honest.reckon i would be lookin around 25mpg with the Focus?

There is one at a garage near me that i'm gonna take for a test drive i think.

Good review micky, thats what i wanted. couldnt find anythin with the search though.

Do love my Fiesta and want to change to something that i'll love as much, still not bored of it, always brings a smile to my face

Sorry my cock up( just been in the car). It was 28mpg on a speedy run. Still very good considering the run we had. Have seen 38mpg but that was true miss daisy driving.

i still prefer the way the fiesta handles yes you have more power in the focus but a fiesta will be much more fun!

i have driven my mates orange focus st which is tuned to 320bhp and yeah its good in a straight line but he couldnt keep up with me on country roads, his focus just wouldnt go round the corners as fast as the fez but on the straights he was back up my bum...
