hi i m new user to this site and i am a huge ST fan, i m not sure whether i should think bout buying ST age of 17 and i want to know if it would be cheaper including insurance, tax and is there any otha costs applys. how much would it cost altogether except the car. help ANY SUGGESTIONS ST OWNERS !! ?
Its gonna be crazy money at ur age!!! The is a very desirable car and a fairly high insurance group, especially if ur under 20!!!
Start with something less desirable, get a few years under ur belt then upgrade

Work your way up, if I had the ST when I was 17 it would now be in several tiny peices.
Give it at least two years before you decide to choose what you want to do.
Im 22, 5 years NCB and im paying £870, with a low excess (£450) and 3rd party insurance on any car. + Induction kit declared!

Yeah i wouldn't even consider an ST at 17- in fact i'd say it was bad parenting to buy a 17 year old that car- insurance will be mega expensive - easily £2k i recon! As others have mentioned a zetec s would be a good buy- few of my mates have them
