Does anyones central locking when they push the lock button on the key fob sometimes not lock the car at all and then a few tries later it'll lock the car using the lock button? Is it a fault or could there be someother reason for it?

Yeh, mine started doing this so I gave up and got my other Remote key out. My guess is the battery is going in it. Don't want to take it to Ford because they'll want ludicrous money to put a new battery in

Maybe, haven't really looked to be honest. I just thought that if you take it out, it would need reprogramming, and thats not cheap

i thought that the key fob charges up when your key when its in the ignition or is that just my van?

I took my old astra key into vauxhall and they charged me £2 for it...
Shouldn't need reprogramming

I had this with mine, it needed a new key fob, At least on the fiesta you can program the fob yourself

They are a bit crap anyway, but I changed the battery in mine no probs

Once the old batteries are out put the new ones in quick just in case
