Urm, what!!! Looks good, but I wish Ford would make their mind up on the damn colours!

I guess everyone will go for blue now.

Would it be OK for me to use that image on the homepage?

I know if they are going to do the blue, I might have to change from the red. But to me performance blue is nice, but it is not as nice as the ford racing blue seen on cars such as the ST200 Mondy!

Racing Blue will be left for the RS.

David, that picture was taken by Tone from UKFiestanetwork.com I'm sure he wont mind you using it as long as you mention his name.

Tell ya what, its exciting times on the Fiesta ST front!

Well I was defo going for Red as silver does not do it for me and my current car is black....so I have learnt my lesson with that colour. So if performance blue is a colour they are going to offer, then I will be getting it in that for sure.

I don't like the look of it in that photo, not in that colour anyway.

This was mentioned on UKFN, but the tyres look a bit on the narrow side. I've compared it to a few of the other Fiesta ST images I have and the tyres in that pic don't look as wide!

I agree, however the Blue ST at RSOC National Day also looked the same... too high off the ground in my opinion.

There not parked on the pavement outside anywhere or in a public carpark m8.

They are hidden in test centers with security gates etc so unless u want to sit outside Dunton all week then u may not see one atall.

God I can not wait to test drive this car...hopefully enjoy it...and then do the deal and get shut of my Ibiza FR!

Trouble is I have Performance Blue and Red side by side here (pictures that is) and it's going to be a hard choice for me to make!

The 182 Cup has been around for quite a while and wins a massive ammount of praise wherever it goes except for the niggles that are the drivers position and overall build quality.

I've gone up against a 172 and that was damn quick so imagine the 182 to be quite a bit of kit. It's why Ford have really got their work cut out as the Clio weighs in £13k when really you'd expect the Fiesta RS to be going up against it more than the ST, but with the RS far out of sight...

They'd of no doubt sold me a Clio earlier this year but when I popped into my local dealer on my push bike they didn't give me the time of day. I've since sent their sales manager a photo of my brand new Mondeo ST and detailed the service I received, or rather lack of. That's the thing to remember, it's not all about the car when people buy stuff.

Ahhh, doesn't really matter how quick they are. The ST is cheaper to insure, better looking and will handle better.

Dunno about the handling - the French do seem to be able to come out with some gems. You're right about the looks though. Yuck! (comparatively speaking).

Did i hear a comparison to French Junk?

Yes they may go fast but by god they do fall apart and when one thing starts falling off the whole lot goes lol.

Guy on one of the other forums I used eventually retured his after 9months of hell for a refund. Shocking build quality apparently. Shame, although great news for the ST as that is excellently put together.

Indeed, Fords are very well built... exactly what they say "built to last"

The ST handling will easily surpass that of it's competitors - it's done some great times on the Lommel Handling test track. Since the mk4 Fiesta onwards, handling and driving dynamics has always been important on all new Fords - pretty much all of our cars are class leaders in this department

Agreed. I get bored with the performance of my cars pretty quickly, but the handling always keeps me entertained.

As for the 0-60 time on the 182 CUP, the Renault webpage says it does it in 7.2 seconds rather than 6.9
