hey guy thinking about getting remote start for ma fezer st, anyone ever had this? is it as good as it looks? any idea on prices, thank you for anyhelp

i looked into this. my mate had it on his golf and it was amazing.

hey guys thx for the replys, i wonder if i could get just the remote start with out full new alarm, am gonna look into it 2-300 would be good 500 is abit much for me, just to look flash haha

That is one of the best alarms on the market buddy, u own a sought after car that draws a lot of attention and security is/was priority on my

Look at how many stories pop up on here regarding theft/vandalism so perhaps spending £500 on a alarm is not necessary but getting a good one is a good move

Just my advice

I have the same views as Robert. I have that system (Cost £370 fitted including boot release module).... Remote start is £150 extra...

I used Safe'N'Sound based in wickford, essex. Quality job and decent customer service!!

Oh and the price is a bit easier to swallow the fact you can take it out and put it in your next car

do all st's have alarms as standard coz i've never heard mine go off? I shook it about quite a lot when i was washing it and the doors were locked so was just wondering

yes mine has just been goin off because i left the window open.
you can buy just remote starts but you are looking at £200 +fitting so for the extra money, just save a little longer and get it done.

lock it (press twice and see the indicators flash) then after a while open a door or the boot with the key and the alarm should go off

Make sure your really close coz its a bit on the quiet side
