Was passing the dealership once again so called in to be the usual pain in the rear. On duty today was the senior sales manager along with the guy I normally deal with. We had quite a chat with regard to Ford cars in general and then moved onto the Fiesta ST.

I was stating that rumour has it the Fiesta ST could have the final specs/price/street date at the Paris Motor Show etc...and that the release date could be Nov 2004 (available to buy)! He then commented that it was the new Zetec-S that was Nov 2004 and that the Fiesta ST would not be out until Jan 2005.

To much hearsay and not enough fact is the problem here. I really do hope we get to know something positive from the Paris Motor Show on Sept 25th 2004. If the Fiesta ST is for sale from Jan 2005 then I will wait another 2 months and get it on an 05 plate instead of 54.

While I was there I sat in the Fiesta Zetec, Street KA, Focus Edge and ordinary KA. Only the Focus had the spacious room to the left of the clutch. God I hope this is not too much of a problem with the ST

This just proves that at the end of the day no one knows. It's ridiculous, and frustrating.

The Fiesta ST has already been launched. It just needs it's technical specification, production start date and pricing to be officially confirmed.

Launched actually meant when we get all the final details.... I know it has already been launched, was just worded wrong

I think we're very likely to see it in November... I also think in the next couple of weeks we will be given the final full spec.
