Hi all, I know most people are busy thinking about Ford Fair but just wanted to put some feelers out regarding another North West meet. North West being the location, not necessarily just members from the area! I thought a run through the illuminations one weekend in Sept / Oct might be cool (not just because I am from Blackpool ) but obviously other location suggestions are welcome!

No I think it is a good idea. If we meet early enough we can make a day of it. Ice cream, fish and chips, maybe even a trip up the tower

http://www.blackpool-illuminations.net/2010/2010SwitchOn.htmlthe switch on could be a good night to go if people want to meet that soon again. robbie williams and alesha dixon going to be there and many more to be confirmed yet, and also 1500 ladies doing a charity walk down the strip. could be some potential there for some good photos. thinking maybe the end of septemeber may not be the best of times to go as its the school holidays (i think), but that may also work in some peoples favour. also another potential meeting point could be matlock bath illuminations. used to go to this as a child and loved it but havent been in a few years. lots of boats that have been lit up in different themes, from ducks in a bath, to steam trains and the last time i went, there was one in the style of a casino with a james bond theme. they do it at 8pm to get the best light from them and then at about 9.15-9.30, fireworks are set off from the hilltops which lasts for 30min. heres a link to the website http://www.derbyshireguide.co.uk/travel/matlock-bath.htmthe fireworks are only on certain nights and this year they are the 2nd, 16th and 30th october. (2nd im in the dominican and 30th is my birthday) just thought i'd throw another idea in there

october 16th is great and i think getting there early enough wont be a problem. theres enough stuff to do around the area to keep us entertained a few hours before, food, pint, arcades, deep see aquarium thing, some nice photo opertunities. theres also a museum on the history of photography which i know some people will be interested in. shuts at 5pm tho but i reckon if there is enough going, i can have a word with them to open abit later.

dontpannic: Horrible news about Stevie, had a bad feeling about it when I saw his hospital selfie on FB
dontpannic: While I'm here (it's been a while), looks like my account is FUBAR... can't post anywhere, can't view user profiles etc, any chance someone can restore my access at all?
kenny: I haven’t got the power so must of been Chris or Scott
kenny: tried ebay etc, you can the gearbox so cheap now loads on ebay ]
JimboSlice: anyone know where i can get a gearbox filler plug? lol threads on mine are beyond knackered!
kenny: Do you mean the plug or the actual bolt with the thread on it
kenny: Thread on eBay starting at £6 to £18 the plugs 18mm 3 for £2.95 👍
Tford: Anyone know how to sort out front bumper sag on Mk7 st
kenny: There is a few YouTube vids which should show you how to lift the bumper back up
Brabbit79: Done my 1st track day today in my 2006 St150, ii was topping oil up 500ml ever 10 laps give and take. No leaks or blue smoke. Anyone else had this.
Kaxe: I hope you are all doing well!
kenny: hows the mk3 rs mate
_Jimmy_: @Brabbit79 it's probably oil passing the piston rings at high revs, used to happen with mine too but normal driving it wouldn't use much oil at all
kenny: seems there is a data base error on the forum
Scotty: @Kenny - Can you see the topic threads again now please?
DAVE T ST: Hi, All, I was thinking about Kev today so thought I'd pop back to see how you all are
ChrisCumbria: Hi Dave, I'm keeping well thanks. Kevin will always be in our hearts.
Brabbit79: @ _Jimmy_: Hi Jimmy, sorry not been on here for a while. Only just seen your reply, thank you. I thought that might be the case.
kenny: I do miss kev, was always a good laugh
