This sounds awesome. I haven't been to Blackpool in years. If we're able to decide on October 16th then I can request the day off in advance and hopefully be given it off. Will it just be a day trip?

Just to throw a couple of spanners into the works here.

I thought a run through the illuminations one weekend in Sept / Oct might be cool

It's nice to see you've got the previous blackpool shot on your avatar there Lee I'd have to decline the lights this time... after being stuck in a traffic jam for about 3-4 hours and my left foot dead from clutch work I think i'd prefer to chew my brake pads.

On a more positive note... since Bakewell was such a roaring success last year... why not Matlock?

Oct sounds good... just try not to make it too late else we all get a little chilly.

well the 16th leaves a good gap from the other meets, and isnt too late. as i said there are only 3 dates for the free fireworks show, beginning middle and end of oct.

matlock winning 2-1

I said Blackpool, but to be honest I'm not that bothered I'm slap bang in the middle of Blackpool and Matlock so it's all good wherever we meet!
