Yeah i got the notification on my phone last night and i was tempted to put a bid in but i decided against it, and i thought you might have been bidding on it didnt really want a bidding war!

gutted i didnt get it. prob would of gone to £50. o well, think i may just get a new one from ford for my birthday. does anyone know if this will benefit me with having onlly a K&N and flexi. may be fitting the manifold soon tho.

Got a message from Ford today, my TB had arrived, 1 week later then expected, 11 days after i put in the order

Fitting took me 5-10 mins (which includes getting the tools), easiest mod i've done so far.

It controls the amount of air that enters the engine. The ECU will open or close the flap depending on how much you press down the accelerator and also based on other information it recieves from other sensors. Because this is 5mm bigger, it should allow more air into the engine, however the ECU may adjust this by making the air gap smaller.

so air from the throttle body is then transferred to the pistons?
