In dedication to Ruthy:

Many who were back on the site in 2008 will recognise the name she posted under "Ruthybaby" and also from FITP and the Yorkshire Event 2007 where she came with us.

She was a right chatter box and was the only person who could hold 4 conversations within the same sentence. Many could not keep up with her but sure as well tried Isn't that right Kev?

I knew her from my first year at Uni where she used to walk from her halls of residence down to mine, pretty much every day to enjoy the seafront view, lounge areas and of course the people in the hall. From this time we got on really well and we could go out for lunch and to pubs/nightclubs pretty much all the time possible.

Ruthy would come and see me in my 2nd and 3rd years to get away from the 7 people she lived with in her student house. We would sit there all night long just chatting away. When I couldn't think of anything to say, Ruthy sure could.

In 2008 we were planning to go to Global Gathering together as she was annoyed to have missed out in 2007 when we went. Before there was chance to get intouch with her. Leaving University just after graduating and travelling back to Croydon from Portsmouth, Ruthy was unfortunatley killed instantly in a stupid and pathetic manouver by the driver who impatiently took over a lorry over double white lines around the devils pounchbowl just past Guildford.

We all miss her, especially myself. A great loss.

I remember Ruth from portsmouth uni and know quite a few people who knew her , always sad to hear about such a tragedy.

Heard the Story from previous meets with Scotty, so tragic, my heart goes out to all concerned.

So sad to hear a story like that.
I like the best of us like a spirited drive every now again, but there is a right time and a place for it and only if its 100% safe. It's idiots like that who walk away and the person they hit dont. Such a tragic loss
