OK, Love my car, but i expect everthing to work and when it wont work get it fixed. I posted a while ago on here about a CD that wont eject. Told ford at chesterfield and booked it in. Had a day off work and took it in. 2 hours later a phone call that the st was ready. Only to find out that they just wanted to see for themselves that it did not work. OK!!! I was told that they would get intouch when a new unit came in. 5 phone calls and 7 weeks later nothing. They just keep telling me they have not heard anything yet and will chase it up. Im getting Fed up!!!

Anybody else get this treatment

No coz I wouldn't use Ford to change a bulb on my car!

Try another dealership. Threaten to name and shame the current dealership. I hate doing it but sometimes it does get results

Phone them every single day, they will get fed up and sort it sooner or later

The only thing that keeps me going to ford is original parts (when im really with my back against the wall) and servicing stamps. I think they are up to no good anywhere around the globe when it comes to after sales service

go in when it is busy with customers. Sat mornings are usually quite good. Make a big scene about the service you have had which puts off other customers. Nothing to get things moving quick than stopping them make their money. Don't worry if your quiet, i was and still did it and got problems sorted within a few days :evil:

It took about a month for ford to replace my cd player under warranty, they were on back order.

Ford do not put their customers best interests first. Fact! Everytime I have dealt with them, they have tried to take the **** because I'm female and assume that I know sweet nothing about my vehicle. Whilst I only know the basics admittedly, it was their attitude that annoyed me. On my old ZS, they tried to charge me £800 for a replacement right wing panel which would need to be fitted and sprayed. It was done for £370 at a local independent garage

Think its time to remind them that im always advertising there product when i drive the car, and im getting more attention in the ST than any other car i have had. Its as if im driving a classic already. So come on FORD look after us

Just remind them that when supplying a service in the course of a business there is an implied term that the supplier will carry out the service with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with Section 13 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982. Section 14 talks of the work being done within reasonable time. Any legal knowledge will shake them up a bit. Offences that breach the aforementioned Act can mean prosecution by trading standards or OFT. Evidence gathering is key. Times and dates and all bullshit excuses used by the garage will be useful.
