Cheers for the welcome, unfortunatly i dont think I'll be attending the Matlock meeting thanks to a local heartless prick doing £1800 worth of damage to my ST. (now driving a £250 1.4 Escort).

Had the car 1month and 2 weeks, loved every moment of it apart from the past few days.

Totaly Heartbroken, Saved for so long, worked all i could just to buy my car and a Censored comes along and does this.

If i go through the insurence i loose my no claims and been 21 unfortunatly would after sell the car due to the fact it would be impossible to insure.

If i have the car resprayed i would after sell it to pay for the paint.

However my mate owns a bodyshop and said i can pay him back monthly, But I'm not sure yet. Totaly lost intrest in the car.

Welcome to the site, have you checked insurance qotes if you had claimed?
a mate crashed his car and still got reasonable quptes only about £200 higher a year at 20

I've not looked in to it yet mate, might have a look today and see what my options are.

Mate, that sucks... hope you get it fixed and the p rick that did it gets what he deserves. Too much scum like that in this country now. I think I'd still be in tears now!

Try the insurance company, it might not be too bad. Why let someone like that ruin all the fun you could have ahead in the ST?

depression kicked in big time, Only just decided to do something about it.

My insurence at the moment is about 900quid, It will go up to 1300quid if i claimed.

not too bad i supose, Realisticly i might after do that, How ever i have a £750 Excess.

I dunno just want my ST back to how she was before, 1 thing is for sure its going to be like new when shes done

Couldn't you lower your annual mileage to bring it down a bit?? I tell them I do around 5000 a year and it does help quite a bit.

i told them that i do 5000, to be honest i might sell my XR3i, use the ST as a evening and weekend car (it can live in the garage were the 3i is) and use my Escort as my work car.

We'll see, at the moment all i want to do is catch the prick.

I aint going to let him win, and surtonly aint going to let him ruin the ownership of the ST for me.

Got the bug back for it again but its already had a scuff appeared lucky it will polish out.

Having my wheels diamond cut so should look good, then wanting to look in to buying a exhaust.
