Just a quick update... Got the Focus a day early so picked it up yesterday, so managed to take it for a good spin out last night... unbelieveable ha The grunt this thing makes is awesome, and just a bit smoother than the fiesta. Also managed to get the MPG to 29.6 that included a bit of booting and 6th gear I'll try to get some pics up soon ...I've fallen in love ha

Must try harder Mine hasn't been abouv 22mpg for a quite awhile now.
30mph into national speed limits are my favs. 3rd or 4th gear and bury it. Will bring such a smile to your face as you ride the massive wave of torque

I did have a bit of a surprise the other day Sat at 40mph, dropped to second to overtake, couldn't believe how quick the turbo spooled up and we were off, changed to third and pulled in, looked at speedo, baalllllls braaaaaaake When you have been driving a van for a few days, can take me by surprise a bit

she got her first clean last night and took some pics, i will put them up tonight ! i love it ha. well my technique to keep it down is ..1st > 2nd > 5/6th can do 30mph easy in 6th, does that use more fuel? or less than 5th or 4th say? as it might have to try harder to keep to a low speed?

It won't use more fuel, just make sure your not putting too much stress on the engine, if it's struggling change down a gear
