Hi all, I've just recentlty bought a but its just started to develop a knocking noise when I turn the steering wheel. This seems to happen mostly at low speed, has anyone got any ideas of what the problem could be?

Does it happen on lock at slow speeds? could be a cv joint.

I had that and it was a CV joint, easy job for a garage to do, not sure how much, I got a mechanic mate to help me out (CV joint itself was £60)

Thanks for the help guys, will try and get it sorted asap cos its doin' my head in!

Also does anyone know if this problem causes the car to be dangerous to drive?
