Hi, I got my new stereo (this one ) today and jus need to know a few things before I attack the dreaded dashboard

1st thing, do I need a double din 'sleeve' ie: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DOUBLE-DIN-CAGE-mo...=item336123eba2

And is this the correct wiring harness for this model fiesta? http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/8353.html
Or this (I have this one from an old ford) http://productfinder.autoleads.co.uk/pro...7&pID=17719

Thanks

Shame I'm not round that way anytime soon as I have a spare connector

Your stereo should come with its own cage

You need a different fascia though that screws into the dash

I got the fascia but the stereo didn't come with a cage I'll have to buy one then. What connector is it Adam? 1st or 2nd one?

Cool cheers guys

Now I found out that the bleeding stereo has a spare wire that needs to be wired up to the handbrake so that the dvd player wont work unless the H-brake is on Anyway of by-passing this? I read that I could wire it to the ground wire on the headunit?

Just wire it down to ground, anywhere on the cage or metal part of the car, thats all I did on mine
Not that I watched movies whilst driving, was just a ball ache to do
