Working from scratch. All security would be up to date Kevin. I'm not sure what board i'd use atm. I'll do my research first.

I would like an Image Gallery put in so good idea.

I'm not a fan of live chats or chat boxes... i've seen this ruin sites before. Far too much emotion involved which gets messy.

Kind of like facebook. If it's the same as on STOC, and I would imagine it is, then you update your status in the same manner as facebook and it shows up on the left hand side of the homepage for everyone to see.

What he said as in STOC, but on the RSOC its on the right, just sort of a list of updates, I'll take a screenshot in a little while when I'm not as busy

I did create a whole new forum 2 years ago as some of the older guys would have heard about. We did demo it for a 2 week period but we scrapped it as it didn't meet the needs originally set out.

That updated version of this board was crap though I remember it took me 3 hours to work out how to make a new post.

How about a red light next to our name or somewhere on our avatar when we're offline and a green one when we're online.

This works great on another forum i use

hmm yeah that's a nice idea especially when you're looking for a reply from someone in particular.
