Just a little thread to see if anybody had any mods on their 's when they brought them? Or whether they even knew about them? I just seen a post where a member has red leads under the bonnet and didnt realise they were a mod.

As for me, when i brought my car it was a toss up between the Zetec S or the , coming from a 1.4 citroen C2 (it was free so couldnt turn it down, but was falling apart after 50,000 miles ) there was really no comparison so went for the (obviously). But when i brought it i didnt know it had such a following in terms of owners clubs and didnt really know about the pre facelift/facelift and the different specs. From using this site i have now figured out that my car has the following mods that i didnt even realise it had (!) It has the zun sport grills, a boot lock cover, angel eyes and the front and rear bumper inserts sprayed black (i believe they are usually grey) so a few little tasteful cosmetic mods

looks like an enthusiast had it before you then and has put some tasteful mods on. are you sure the engine is standard?

might have a supercharger under there.. never know lol

yeah ive had a good gander under the bonnet and i believe it is standard, next year will see a k&n going on but first i want my wheels refurbed as the person before may have had a nice eye for mods but couldnt park for toffee

mine was completely standard when i bought it except from the duel controls for driving instructors

why did it have dual controls???


was it actually used as an instructor car?

yes but the pedals arent attached to the shafts so i didnt see the shaft hiding under the column. it was only on the first clean i realised. i could buy some pedals and do lessons
