Finally got around to fitting the inlet manifold this weekend, took it round to my mate dave (the devils works) who does all the work on my car now and he fitted it for me, had a few problems in the fitting process as the standerd o-rings are like elastic bands, so the advice of the day is befor fitting, get some proper ones lol!!

Fitting the inlet is far from the easyest mod on the car, id give it a 7/10 for difficulty as the space is so tight, if you removed the front bumper it would make it much easier but obviasly its another job to do!. we didnt remove the bumper or the front panel, just take the front grille and drivers headlight out and you can access it that way, you will also need to get under the car, and it is definatly a 2 handed job, you will need patience.....lots of it to get clips on and bolts into stupidly tight spaces

anyways i drove away today with it all fitted and what a sound it makes, makes a roaring sound, really is a powerfull sound, i havnt fitted the 60mm tb yet either. reading so many different topics on the inlet, and 9/10 people all say they lose torque and power etc. Well in my opinion, i actually think it drives much smoother and pulls harder! yes there is some rev hold but nothing major how people make out. now i had my car mapped at jamsport 3months ago, weather the map i had fitted was designed to run in conjuction with the inlet, i dont know, but my overall opinion is i love it!

so in conclusion:

Firstly get some new o-rings and also some gasket sealent

Can anyone fit these?
aslong as your ok with tools and have a basic knowledge of how things come off and go back togeather and you have patience, then yes!

Would i recommend them?
Yes, i wish id have done it a long time ago!!

Is the torque loss substancial?
what torque loss i honestly can't tell!!

Also like to say thanks to Dan for selling me the inlet
