I guess that's what happens down London way though? Quick cash and back home.

Thats proberbly about right. If you want something done quick london is the place and they do, do a good job. Problem is normally you have to pay a premium aswell. Also remember that they do a hell of alot of runs so get lots of practice.
He only had two straps to put on and get the car lined up on the rollers. We wern't exactly pushing the boundarys of their rr . I do agree that they need to look into re-furbing the rollers though or getting somekind of coating for them.

I had a great day, nice to see everyone again

It took me a bit longer to get home (40 mins ) Because i was too busy overtaking 2 slow vans and missed the dartford crossing turn off so went the long way thru blackwall On the plus side, no toll

the guy at AMD seemed pretty cool, think it would have been longer on the rollers if any of the cars were actually having a remap but it was only for BHP readings.. id go there again and maybe even go on the rollers!

Shame about the rollers not being capable of over 300bhp, but was good to know my baseline figure

I undertstand this... but when you order a Clown for a childrens party. You don't want him to come in... show you all the tricks in 5mins and then go again. You want him to take some time and go through the tricks slowly.

For £300 i believe he should have opened things up for at least until 2-3pm. Shutting down 9am - 10:30 is just crazy. Only reason he had to wait was because Adam was late.

I agree the rollers need a refurb but more importantly the garage needs a re-furb. The acustics of the rolling road are simply stupid. Why he build a garage around it I don't know, it just hightens the noise ten fold. No body could see the car running and there was no screens set up so you could follow the run. It felt very clinical.

I like to be able to get up close to the rollers and see the car run and hear the noise of the car/engine/exhaust... not just a WUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I don't know, maybe I'm picky and not up to speed on this whole speedy business.

guys the best rolling roads are as follows

North

http://www.aetturbosonline.co.uk/

Midlands

http://www.garage786.co.uk/index.php?garage786=cmsdetail1&id=10&catid=1

South

http://www.btecracing.co.uk/index.htm

all of them can handle up too 1000bhp on each axle.

I've never heard of, or known for that matter anyone taking their cars to amd rolling roads probably more common for the lower end of the market if your driving pugs saxo's or generally low mph cars.

The idea of the garage is probably that they can but the shutter down when remapping cars during the week so the people working in the rest of garage don't have to hear it

The place I went to in nottingham is doing the same, so that people working on cars don't have to listen to it
