Has anyone else seen the new Focus ST in the flesh? As they have one down at my local dealers in the bright orange. They told me that they shouldn't be showing it until the new year but apparently the cover they had on it "fell off".

Yeah I saw one on saturday, dealer was making no effort to hide it, I do like the orange colour now I have seen it in the flesh, I thought it was really nice to sit in, everything spaced out well inside, Going for a proper test drive in about a week or two...should be interesting  Oh and I got a quote from my insurance company for a laugh but they came back with £500!! fully comp, 23 years old 5 years no claims

Yep, i sat in one on Saturday, the Sales Manager let me start it & Rev it to hear how good it sounds!!! very nice.
Getting a Test Drive on the 22nd, when it's Taxed.
Really don't like the Orange,not even in the Metal + it will Date very fast.

Remembered I should have phoned my dealership to see where their Focus ST is. I saw an orange one in Basildon Ford a couple of weekends ago and thought it was gorgeous! The colour and the new mk Focus has grown on me a LOT. I'm still not tempted because if I thought the fuel economy was bad on the Fiesta ST.....

No they aren't all sold - I heard they are limited edition, but the first x number will be sold for an extra £695. According to WhatCar magazine  that figure will go up to £850. That's just wrong..... J

It was going to be limited edition but now that something like 1200 have been pre ordered in orange, it would be commercially insane for Ford (but that hasnt always stopped them.. *ahem*) not to carry it on, which they have. It looks like the orange will be here to stay til 2007 then a new limited edition "for the Focus ST only" colour will be introduced.
