I currently have my bonnet done in carbon fibre sticker and roof too. My bonnet catch has a prob with it and it was always very tight to close the bonnet but nows its closes easily because the bonnet has bent very slight at the front. Its hard to see only if you are really looking for it. Good thing the sticker is there which hides it a fair bit but I know its there and its annoying.

I want to hide this slight dent if possible, I was thinking a bonnet bra and get it wrapped in carbon fibre, my only concern is its very big, the ones on auto bra!!

Is it possible to somehow get a piece of plactic sheet from somewhere and make it so it fits the front of the bonnet.

Any thoughts on this guys???

thats quite a common problem, when shutting the bonet do you push down on it or do you drop it cause you can crack the paint and bend the bonet by pushing it shut

i always drop mine

Mines wud never close if I dropped her so I had to shut her from the sides but then she had to get work done to her and maybe the mechanics (2 of them) were pushing her down from the front and caused the problem.

It happened before so I changed the bonnet & am not doing that again!!

If you dont want a bonnet bra, and to be honest why would you, you can get a vinly strip on the front (like a sun strip) which looks much better than a bonnet bra and protects from stone chips

ive got one i used 3M carbon fibre wrap, it works really well

Get an rs bonnet lip made up,covers the little dent at the end of the Bonnet . But that's honestly not the reason I got one ;D
