A gazillion miles away from you lies a sunny little country known for it's shores and beautiful mountains, ancient monuments and breathtaking women (ok, not all of them, that's for sure) known as Greece. It is the most unsuitable place to own a Fiesta ST.

The roads are a pothole avoiding excercise even in the highways let alone in the B roads where the Fiestas are at their best. Ownership fine (sorry for the bad language, I mean what you pay for owning the car every year) is almost a basic months salary, as for older cars it is calculated by the engine's displacement.

Yet.

I own this Gorgeous Fiesta which I call "Coocoo" for 3 full years (I bought it second hand with less than 10k miles) and it has become a part of my life in more journeys than I can count all over my country. I am proud of each and every 95k miles it has written with me as a driver.

I'm (well) into photography as well, it's always in my pocket (although it never fits) and I really like combinative photography of nature and (my) car. I never miss the opportunity to pay a visit to a distant destination and make the best out of the moment.

A good friend of mine from Greece is a member of this forum, say hello you old man, and suggested me that I should go active here, saying hello.

So, greetings from Greece.

The Coocoo sits on Kw Variants 1, with OZ ultraleggera 16' rims and a couple of Sparco Imola buckets. And that's it. Mechanical stuff are all stock, apart from those Ferodo pads and some minor tweaks.

Welcome to the site. We have all been viewing your photos for a while now.

I did like these comments

I drove my Focus to Greece in August this year. Driving the 213miles from Igoumenitsa to Kastro-Kyllini was just awful. The roads are terrible.

The roads in Kefalonia were much better but there was still some really bad bits.

1 week driving in Greece was quite enough for me tbh. I was glad to get back onto the smooth Italian roads and prefect German Autobahns.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Scotty you 're right. It takes a lot of time and mileage in order to find a decent piece of tarmac when you can enjoy driving your car. Like here:

It's me driving on a B road, in relatively high altitude, in the break of dawn. Almost perfect tarmac, zero traffic, beautiful scenery. Video hosted by friend. (Sorry if I am off topic)

JimClark is my nick name in a Greek Fiesta forum. I am a big fan of the Scot F1 champ.
