Biting point is right at the top, try sitting in traffic for an hour or so then see how your pulling off is

Will you not burn the clutch out holding the car on the clutch for that length of time?

He means when you are in traffic that crawls. Go, stop, go, stop.

You don't get much of this in Cumbria For us unfortunate folk it happens often... well infact I sit in traffic getting out of Warwick for 25mins each day before I get onto a road that moves.

I tell you what Adam. Doing that in the is a KILLER. The racing clutch gets veryyyy heavy. I feel your pain lol.

I use the Zetec Mon-Fri so isn't too bad as the clutch is lightweight. It does crunch in reverse and also forwards gears from time to time. Thats probably to do with the 65,000miles i've done since changing it.

Erm... maybe not quite as bad as that, and I understand what you're saying that it's nothing like in cities here, but we do actually have traffic! It takes me 45-50 minutes driving time to get to and from work most days, which probably doesn't sound too bad for a nine mile journey, but still means lots of stop-start driving.
