Anybody else have a problem with unlocking their drivers door in cold weather?

Everytime we get a major frost my drivers door won't unlock, I have to climb through the passenger side and wrench the handle open.

Any ideas why? Can't hear any water in the door. Thanks.

I spray WD40 ALL around the catch, 'B' post, and also spray some on some cloth and wipe around the door frame seals.

No probs openning at -12 degrezzzzzzze.

I find GT85 is a winner ideal on the Alfa drop windows that tend to freeze to the rubber so you cant get in GT85 has a nice PTFE coating when it drys and smells gr8 too

My inside handle stays outwards after opening so it wont let me lock the car as the handle is keeping the mechanism open, took me ages to find out !!!

If one door is getting frozen and the other not then it will simply be down to one side of the car being in the cold and the other shaded. I've found the same and it depends which side of the street I'm parked on as to which door is frozen in the morning!

Same here! Also my car boot is being impossible at the moment to open!

I find putting a cover on it solves all problems, of course when i can be arsed to find it and put it on whilst being snowed upon!

Both mine were stuck this morning, so had to dive over the back seat through the boot which fortunately did open. A waste of effort for me though as we got turned round and sent home from work again.
