Yeah not just good for snow - I noticed on a damp road (before the snow) the car was far less eager to spin the wheels when pulling off briskly.

why dont tyre manufacturers simply make equivalent winter tyres as a direct replacement, probably because no big demand but I think there will be in future..........

Steve you can buy all season tyres which in the tests performed very well in the cold/wet tests
