Just registered here. Bought an 06 blue ST with no stripes just before the new year, going to pick it up tomorrow, can't wait!

This will be my third Fiesta, previously had a Mk 3 for a year (until someone crashed into me) then had a Mk 4 for about 5 years and have run it into the ground so to speak (not economical to get it through its MOT) so this will be my first "tidy" car!

Been browsing a bit since buying it and it seems like a friendly place so looking forward to using the forum!

Cheers everyone.

Just sorting the insurance now, trying everything I can to get it as low as I can. I'm 23 with 6 years no claims, got it just under £600 which isn't too bad I suppose?

Duncan, I'm from Herefordshire out in the sticks, live on a farm. Anyone else from there?

Steve, will do. I'm pretty big into rallying and photography so they'll be no shortage of pics from me. As for other things, anyone into tractors?! lol

Lozzy, always thought car insurance was meant to be cheaper for girls (assuming you are?)?

Also, hoping to do some modifications/tuning at some point so is there a preference for insurers with this in mind?

Cheers Kenny.

Duncan, I think mud flaps are going to be the first thing I get! Any recommendations?

Hey Jim B. Welcome to the site! I thought you might be from around there or Wales due to the "tidy" comment I trained at Cardiff Uni, so know the area well! Whereabouts are you based in Herefordshire? £600 is not bad at all. I've just renewed mine with Admiral - with breakdown cover the total cost was £945 with 1 year NCB.

Lozzy - how come you're paying so much with 5 years NCB?! Who are you with?!
