ive just had a quote of £130 to get all my windows tinted and the front windows he will take out and bake the tint onto the windows .. the tints come with a 15 year guarantee against fading he will also pick up my car leave his van at my house then drop my car back ..

i dont really know prices of tints so i thought id ask the people in the know haha

to me it seems like a fair price for all the work involved but like i said i have no clue what do you guys/girls think

I paid £80 for the back 3 and he just put a film over them.
Did a top job though to be fair to the bloke

seems a good price never heard of them being baked tho make sure you make a note of ur mileage

baking them just means that the tints dont take 3 days to dry before you can use the window and he can feather it in better when hes dry.. thats what he said when i asked him :P

baking them is just basically running the heat gun over them so that they cure. price is very reasonable. usually 80 for the back 3 and 20 quid a front side

Dont pay any attention to the warranty as it only covers fading and not the fitting. Who the hell is going to measure there tints in 15 years with a light tester and go and complain it has dropped 10%. the bloke probably won't even be there then. The price is good tho, but doing the fronts is a waste of time

iv got my fronts done, had to, thought it looked silly without them. its only a medium/light tint. cant remember the % but i hav no problem with mot.

dont get the fronts too dark!! just get tinted wind deflectors to set it off a bit more! do the back dark tho

ok so does seem to be a decent cover. i think the fronts are too much hassle if you get stopped by vosa or picky cops
