right been thinking about swapping the ST. Main reasons are to save money on fuel cost, insurance etc for house. But as you can guess bit unsure. Car that iv seen is a Swift 1.5 glx 3dr in white. Dont really know much about them tbh but a mate used one as a rental car and rates them quite highly. anybody on here ever had or driven one? Just after some advice really.

cheers guys and girls

If u have mods a garage would tend not to give u a good price!
Look at Mazda 2's
they look like nice little cars!
Maybe a diesel if u travel long distance a lot

mate had a Swift Sport, cracking car, can't fault it. If you are going to trade down and get some money back then fair enough, but when your talking about running costs etc you have to weigh this up against potential problems with the car you get. For me I know I have high costs but as my car is fautless then it is saving me money against trading it for something that might develop a mechanical etc. Thats my thinking.

I've heard quite negative comments about the Swift Sport, but we're all different and it would be worthwhile for you to test drive one. I don't how much you're hoping to get for your , but I wouldn't trade to dealership/garage. I have a 56-reg with 30k mileage and in very good condition, and my insurance company valued it at £4800 last week.

Go for a diesel if you have issues with Fuel. If your only doing short distance, is it really worth it?

When the summer comes, you'll be able to enjoy your and use it for what it's for.

tiff needel likes the swift sports and i've always liked the looks of them but apparently they only have 2 seat belts in the back and at motorway speeds they can be quite noisy too. Theres some vids of them on you tube

ah i see following in from the mazda 2 idea get a 1.5 sport in white. I think they look fantastic and they're based on a fiesta so handle just as well and sound quite beefy
