Cheers for the replies...!

No one use it then? If you're going a bit quick part the way around a bend and you start to feel the car understeering a bit of left foot braking transfers weight to the front wheels and you find more grip, or if its slippy the backend can start to come out but its quite controllable.

I used to use it to good effect on my old car, but that handled like a shed compared to the ST. Only had my ST for nearly a month, but I had understeer once on a damp road, let off and the backend stepped out (not a fan of lift off over steer). Left foot braking would be a better way of controlling the car in this situation...

If the accelerator is down, and I gently press the brake with my left foot, the car stops revving up and doesn't pull. I'm just guessing the ECU is being told the brake and accelerator are being pressed at the same time, so reduce throttle?

Glad you joined a helpful site? Probably does but I've never tried breaking and accelerating at the same time...
