Where it is attached, lift the cap then use a 13mm spanner to undo the bolt

What cap?? It's the original! Does it need some elbow grease? I don't want to snap anything!

yeah i understand its the original, there is still a cap over where it is bolted on. I'll try take a photo later of my original wiper, its in the boot of my car

EDIT here is a pic that should help...lift up the cap then undo the nut holding the wiper on...

And once the bolt is removed lift the wiper up, so that it's sticking out, and just give it a slight wobble back and forth to release it from the splines on the motor.

they couldnt have given you a better description. What they said Unfortunately ever since I fitted the new wiper, I've never had a perfect fit and wipe as the old one used to but at least it looks way better.

mine has somewhat got problems even on the bit where the nut fits. the new wiper kind of stands out from the housing leaving the nut a bit farther out. I dont really believe the rear wiper of the ST is different from mine =S

Have you tried this one below mate? I when I first started fitting it I thought I'd messed up, but it looks 10x better than the standard ST one imho.

Wiper I fitted
