Powercap you need a ground cable and a power cable and also a distributor cap.

No problem and thankyou, ah i see hope it gets sorted, well tonight was the first night i got a proper system set up, i bought a 2000W 4 channel amp and it runs my JLs and 6x9s beautifully, just need my powercap sorting now i bough a phoenix gold one 1.0 farad, then i shall set about making abit of an enclosure to mount my power cap and amp on,and need some component speakers, then hopefully get a proper head unit set up, and after that it shall be sorted

Nice one mate sounds decent, make sure you get a distributor block they are essential. hopefully my sound will be finished end of march, still need to buy components, head unit but got my competition amp and subwoofers sitting in my garage reminding me that 2000w rms of power will be enough lol...

If I remember correctly u put the distributor block jus before amp then that will split the wire into 2 then 1 goes to amp and other to power cap I used a 1.2 farad in my escort then after I finished it all got it checked over by 2 different companies and they recommended to take it out and that was with a 1500 watt amp
