Mate of mine just bought a Corsa SRi, 57 plate. Just found out that since its the same engine as the VXR, it can get upto 220bhp just from a single remap?! CRAZY?!

Slower round Anglesey circuit than a fiesta st though

Lowered on ap coilovers, simota carbon induction kit, 4-1 milltek Evo manifold, scorpion cat back with sports cat and full st170 brakes with goodridge braided lines.
So much for keeping this car standard...

The engine apparently wont go bang though thats the thing, its the exact same engine whats in the VXR....im just so shocked you can get an excess of 70bhp just from a remap? why would anyone buy a vxr then?

any vauxhall vxr or not urrrrr  not a comparison to ford, id have a Renault or vw or even Peugeot before a vauxhall,i do love the bucket seats in them though something the st should have come with but didnt someone on here say that there friend had there vxr engine mapped and it blew up on them?
