Ok I might start giving this a go as well as part of the plans for my car. Now I read a lot of reviews and techniques but I still have fundamental questions.

a) obviously this has to be paint resistant to heat but should I go for spray paint or get some normal paint and a paintbrush? maybe some pics showing differences?

b) How long do I have to wait before it's all dry and I can use the car?

c) I forgot what c) was by the time I got home =| I'll let you know if I remember

Im pretty sure most people use HAMMERITE, bloody hard stuff that, its a pot and brush setup mate.

I used some on the front forks on the bike and it didnlt take long to dry at all.

Loads of colours available too mate

If you get it as a spray as well (like i did) it dries quicker but you might need more coats
I did about 4 or 5 coats- says to wait 15 mins between coats
either way you're looking around 3-5 hours

Probably spray but you would have to remove them from the car, whereas the by brush you wouldn't have to

Removing them from the car sounds too much hassle. Might look for some hammerite over the next weekend then haha

I sprayed them without removing from the car. as long as you are careful and use a lot of newspaper/ masking tape etc you should be all right.
Pretty happy with how mine turned out!
