Little update for today, swapped the bulbs for silvatec ones, and no I did not hack off the pins as I'm not rock

A nice and easy update, when I first got the car, I ordered the wrong harness and couldn't be bothered waiting to get another one so just settled for not having the stalk controls. But that started to annoy me having a stalk that does nothing!

So onto ebay and got this:

Much better now

Also with the glove box out I managed to tidy up the wires a little as there is alot for the head unit, but so much space with the glove box out, think when I fitted the head unit I didn't actually take the glove box out for some reason lol

Cool I didn't use my steering stalk when i had my dvd player in but as soon as i got my new st i started using it again Very usefull

Totally, it is a much easier than having to control it from the head unit, especialyl when it's bumpy!

Well since it's Christmas I thought it's time for an update, and i have actually something to update with lol.

Just had the new engine and charger fitted and mapped up by Jamsport. 310 but can't remember the torque. Very happy with that though :-)

Will get pics and upload the graph later.

Actually saw another members car being mapped while i was there and also met another member in the hotel car park when I arrived, they were having a meet somewhere, would have liked to have went but after all the traveling I was a bit tired!
So in my few days in England I have met more fellow members than I have ever in Scotland haha

Fair play can't wait to see the pics. I thought you might get charged at some point with all the mods you had already that was the last thing on the list

Tbh I didn't really plan on doing it, just the forged engine, diff and bigger charger setup came up for a real good price I thought it would be cheaper in the long run.

Ah that's fair enough mate. Still fair play to you for biting the bullet and going for it

New engine fitted?? Is that the 2.3 duratec i'm guessing ? Sweet project though, just sat here and skimmed through every page pretty much hah!

ohh so it was your car that was in js today? ahould have said im nearby would have gone in and had a look! you enjoying the power?

Sounds awesome

Nice one
